This drift of words feels like a wave that didnβt just roll in, it pulled me under. I felt the ocean not as horizon but as pulse in my chest, a thousand little tides inside me stirring toward upheaval and peace at once. You didnβt just write about water, you reminded me I am water, held and shaped by every current and crest Iβve ever loved or feared, every shore Iβve stumbled onto at dusk. The poem reads like salt on skin, like the ocean whispering back its own name through your voice, and I come away feeling washed, wild and greeting the horizon on my own terms
βfor i am a body of water
held by bodies of waterβ
