poetry recitation
blushing roses
it’s the pomegranate that grows
from the florescence of a tree
the fireflies between your ribs
that long to fly free
it’s the embers of passion
tingling on my skin
the champagne behind lashes
as fingers curl within
it’s rising to tip toes
dancing on cobblestones
painting blushing roses
along the shelf of my collarbones
it’s my cheeks reaching for eyes
with wild raspberry desire
slow hips and gliding jazz
between the thigh stoked fire
it’s holding misty swans
the softness of home
wings against my sternum
the way your breath slows
Introducing…
My beautiful friend
and I have dreamed together to bring you a new substack called once upon a fairytale! Here you’ll find a realm of wonder, where stories sparkle like stardust and poems dance like sunlight on the sea.
We have created a space where the magic of fairy tales meets the realness of our deepest thoughts and longings—a place where we pause, breathe, and let the world fall away so we can return to our truest selves.
The adventure begins this Moon Day. If the siren’s song is calling out to your heart, you can subscribe and read more in our introductory post below.
Thank you so much for sharing!! 🦢
Gorgeous, jennae.
