Glimmers I’ve noticed recently —
It hailed this afternoon in Los Angeles & then sun came out 5 mins later & red breasted robins filled out garden with their birdsong 🥰;
My baby’s smile, laugh, when she tries to chew my hand bc she’s hungry lol …;
Decorating our bathroom with tiny pinch pots I made in ceramics class and filling them with the tiniest blossoms;
Caramel cookie crunch ice cream and the best oatmeal my partner made me this morning 🤍

When I first started my journey years ago, through debilitating depression, I remember what was suggested to me. Write down what I love, including five things I love about myself. And if (when) I struggle to do that, reach out to those who I love and ask them for five things they love about me. I was so surprised by what I received back, and it was the start of seeing a different version of myself in this mirror I hold to the world.

I'm trying to sit here and find words to express the beauty in which I just read, in which I just FELT deeply in my heart. But no words that I can conjur up right now could express it accurately. I guess a quote you used, could perfectly sum up how I feel.
Look at what you created. Look at what is within you.
You are a poet and you know it (couldn't help myself with that little pun, I've said it many times in my life, but have never meant it more than right now)
To know you is a gift, a true blessing in my life. To get a glimpse into what is in your heart, my gosh, it just makes my whole body vibrate in a frequency of love. To know you and to be loved by you and to be able to witness the ebs and flows of life with you, I could never express how grateful I am.
There is healing in your words, not just healing of your own, I feel touched by the most beautiful light after finally being able to read all of this. Thank you so much for having the courage to share, Vulnerability is such a beautiful thing.

The glimmers I've been noticing recently, since I am now in a city, have been the ways the light touches everything in the early hours - the patterns and shapes it creates on buildings, the way everything gets covered in a golden glow. I'm that person on the busy street who just stops to watch it over and over again.
You are definitely a "poet ☾ dancing to the songs of softness and sensuality," as you write of yourself. There is no need to doubt.
You have a distinctive voice, and the meditations in this post of yours are soft, watercolour brush strokes which layer over one another, to create a gentle, persistent, song of the love of life. The combined effect, for me, is a little like summer rain on a warm, grey, peaceful day when I have nothing more to do than to watch, and listen, and submerge myself in the scent of the rain on the leaves.
This is what I am enjoying about being here, in this odd, online placeless place. I came here to write, and to communicate again after a very long silence - and doing that is wonderful - but an even greater delight is the opportunity to meet other creative, gentle minds, and to read words I could not have written myself.
Which is to say - thank you for being here too, and for sharing your glimmers, and your luminosity.
